Imabari city in Ehime prefecture has been Japan’s leader in towel production for over 120 years.
Ehime is known for its water; both mild water perfect for dyeing towels, and onsen water that makes for a perfect hot spring.
Real Imabari towels and cotton crafts are marked with the red, white, and blue seal issued by the Shikoku Towel Industry Association as a guarantee of high-quality.
Receiving the certification means that each towel must pass a rigorous 12-point test.

Care Guide
IORI towels and cotton products are authentic Imabari crafts. They are durable to survive countless times through the washing machine without fading or falling apart. Fabric softener is not needed as the cotton crafts are naturally soft.
