Meet The Founders!
Rambling Merchant connects craftsmen and their stories with those willing to listen. We remove the barriers of language and location usually involved with sourcing specialty craft goods. Our merchants ramble around and showcase the handiwork of dedicated craftsmen and share the stories behind them and their craft. We are more than just a specialty craft merchant, we are adventurers who document the stories behind each craft and craftsman.
Logan
Logan is a spontaneous world traveler whose motto is “just winging it'”. Having an extensive network in Japan, he had visited the country 14 times before finally moving there in 2020. Rambling around the country, he shares the experience of him and his friends living in small town Japan through the Rambling Merchant blog. Currently residing in Shizuoka, Logan represents the Japanese side of Rambling Merchant.
Iain
Iain is a passionate traveler, serial entrepreneur, and a burgeoning author. Having traveled around Europe and studied business in London, he has a business portfolio ranging from real estate to hair products. He is a published writer with a focus on science fiction. Currently residing in Colorado, Iain represents the American side of Rambling Merchant.
